Stay tuned—your invite is coming soon. 🌊✨ We had this perfect plan: hop on a budget Flixbus from Strasbourg, France to the EPIC Rulantica water park in Germany. Fast, cheap, and fun - right?! Except… we forgot one little thing: passports. 😳 Turns out, Canadian ID cards aren’t enough to cross the border via Flixbus. So we missed the bus, scrambled to find an Uber, still made it to Rulantica, and somehow had an unforgettable day anyway. This week’s post spills the whole messy story. Think the waterslide in the photo above looks insane? Well it is, and one of us beat the fastest time in the whole park that day - find out who it was below: 👉 Day Trip from Strasbourg: Learn from Our Rulantica Fail✅ This is one of those: "travel didn’t go as planned, but it turned out great anyway” stories you’ll want to bookmark. ✈️ I Was Featured in Travel Mint!Super excited to share this: I was recently featured in a Travel Mint article all about carry-on only travel. My friend (and neighbor!) Courtney recently spent 10 days exploring Medellín with her family - with a bonus day in Mexico City that started with an earthquake and ended at the zoo. From cable car rides over the city to climbing 700 stairs for sweeping...
Dear Reader We just got back from two weeks in Guadeloupe, and I think it might be my new favorite Caribbean island. Not only is it culturally rich, but nature is on a whole other level there. Dear Reader I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a calm start to the New Year. ☀️ We were soaking up some sunshine in Guadeloupe, which is why my newsletter went a little quiet for the past two weeks. That contrast made it very obvious what worked and what didn’t once we arrived. Here’s what actually earned its...
